Who we are

This policy covers design.scalehomes.co and build.scalehomes.co, the websites of Scale Homes Design Center and Scale Homes Build & Remodel. Both are run by Scale Homes Design Center LLC ("Scale Homes", "we", "us") of Plano, Texas.

What we collect

• What you type into a form: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and what you tell us about the project, such as the rooms, materials, timing, notes, and any samples or visualizer combinations you attach.
• Photos, drawings and measurements you upload or send us.
• When you agree to calls and texts: the exact consent wording you saw, the date and time you submitted it, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We keep this as the record of what you agreed to.
• Our calls, texts and emails with you. If a call is recorded, we tell you at the start of the call.
• How the site is used: pages visited, device and browser type, and the page that sent you here, through cookies and Google Analytics. We don't send your name, phone number or email address to analytics.

How we use it

• To answer your quote request and your questions.
• To prepare your design consultation, drawings, 3D model and quote.
• To schedule measurements, deliveries and installs.
• To send you project updates, links to your designs and appointment reminders by call, text or email.
• To keep business records and meet our legal and tax obligations.
• To see which pages help people and fix the ones that don't.

We don't sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you agree to texts on one of our forms, we text you about your project: design consultations, quotes, links to your designs and appointment coordination. The Terms set out the texting program in full.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who else handles it

Only the companies that run part of the business for us, and only to do that work: website hosting, our customer database, our phone and texting provider, email and analytics. They may use your information only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes. Our texting provider handles your number only to deliver our messages to you.

Suppliers and installers on your job get only what they need to deliver or install it, such as the address and a contact name and number.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a new owner if the business is sold, who must keep to this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep project records for as long as we need them to do the work, stand behind it, and meet tax and legal record-keeping rules. We keep consent and opt-out records for as long as we might contact you, and afterwards as proof of what you agreed to or asked us to stop.

Your choices

• Stop texts: reply STOP. Get help: reply HELP.
• Stop calls or emails: tell us on a call, by email at service@scalehomes.co, or at (469) 210-8283.
• See, correct or delete your information: email service@scalehomes.co or call (469) 210-8283. We'll check it's you first. We may keep what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, and a note that you asked us not to contact you, so that we don't.
• Cookies: your browser settings can block or clear them. The site still works without them.

Keeping it safe

Only the people who work on your project can see your information, and we store it with established hosting and software providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise it never will be exposed.

Children

These sites are for adults arranging work on a home. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
